Cellar Door

Once again, Cellar Door is proud to grace the decks for Housva after a night of Christmas Mayhem last year!

Cellar Dosor is one of the leading members of the new generation of party organisers and music collectives that have established themselves. Under various guises, they have organised an array of events across the UK and abroad. Covering all music genres which has seen us work with the Magnificent Jazzy Jeff, UK legends MJ Cole and Sticky, the MOBO award winning Shortee Blitz, Giles Peterson, Brockie, Scratch Perverts and up and coming UK talent such as Wiley, The Virus Syndicate, NY & Da Vin Che. Our passion for music is evident through our events that include A Musica Em Mim, RWD in stereo, Something For The People and That Thing Parties, our collaborations with fellow leading lights and good friends in the music scene Heatwave, Funked Up, Urban Elite and many more. They are also not shy to grace the decks producing all embracing sets with the tracks – both new and old – providing the beats to move your feet...

Deepsax

Deepsax's energy, charisma and playing style is generating mounting interest resulting in recent performances with multi-talented DJ collective "Bugz in the Attic", Mercury Music Prize nominee and UK hip hop talent "Ty", Soul Heaven's DJ Aaron Ross and BBC Radio 1xtra's DJ Footloose.

He has appeared at a number of high profile venues and nights across London including "Heat" (Brixton Academy), "Heaven" at Heaven (www.heaven-london.com), with DJ Anthony Dean ("Feel the Funk" - www.djanthonydean.co.uk), Notting Hill Arts Club and "Cellar Door" at Guanabara (Covent Garden, London). He is also planning appearances at Plastic People (Shoreditch, London) and with DJ Anthony Dean (Anthony Dean LIVE).

Having recently confirmed new residencies at the Notting Hill Arts Club (Funk Royale), Homebar (Shoreditch, London), Hive (Brixton) and Luminaire (Balham) he states: "Had I been told 12 years ago that my sax playing/performances were going to attract so many admiring djs, promoters, clubbers and dancers, I simply wouldn't have believed it. But what I do is better expressed through my collaborators..." (See below...)

Deepsax has 5 years experience improvising live with DJs both in London and internationally in USA (San Francisco), France (Paris), Greece (Crete) and Portugal (Lagos and Canico).
