My work is based around the concept of recreating couture fashion techniques with contemporary materials and focuses on the principal of handwork and embellishment.

Jewellery is often a central theme and for this collection I used antique cameo brooches as inspiration, reworking and distorting them through material, context and scale and combining this with strong geometrically decorated garments and accessories incorporating lots of plastics and hardware.

In this I hope to create a look which is finished to a high standard and captures the attention to detail of high end fashion with modernity.
