Authenticity

My recent practice is based on modern tourists who often seeking authenticity of other tourism sites. With the inevitable growth of the global environment, issues such as ‘authenticity’ are manipulated and blurred by new cultural simulations.

Visitors will be compelled to appreciate how tourism sites “want” them to behave and therefore, the visitor will no longer be able to identify the authentic. It is not the authentic but the authentication, that needs to be interrogated.
